Brett Green
I am a professor of finance at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. My research focuses on financial economics, corporate finance, contract theory, and microeconomic theory. Much of my work studies the behavior of strategic agents in dynamic settings, with a particular emphasis on learning in markets with information frictions.
Applications of my research include venture capital, private equity, real estate, and securities markets. More recently, my work has explored contract design for credit markets in developing countries, as well as sports economics.
Prior to joining WashU, I was a tenured associate professor at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
